MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been affected by his global popularity. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his debut full-length album. It peaked at number eight at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca is an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. The group released Dopamina the chart-topping second album, in the following year. In 2021 he recorded an duet with TINI's popular song Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are both musicians. According to him, music was an integral aspect of his daily life. As a child, was playing the ukulele and the piano. The first choice for his career was to be a vet, but his brother Julian convinced him to study to sing with the help of a Cuban instructor. The end result was that he discovered his own talent for singing and altered the direction of his life.
